INFO AND FAQ

01. When will I receive my photos?

I deliver all my images via an online gallery - turnaround is 2-3 weeks. You’ll receive an email with a link to your gallery where you can download your images and purchase prints.

02. How does booking work?

After we chat and set a date of your shoot, a contract signature and $300 deposit is required to reserve your date and time. Payments can be made via Zelle or Venmo.

03. Can you Photoshop...

I use Lightroom to enhance your images, photos will be color-corrected, and I will not alter your appearance, no beauty retouching. If you want perfectly photoshopped images, we probably aren't a good fit to work together.

04. What should I wear?

I will provide a session guide once you book your session. Some general tips are: You can never go wrong with solid colors - earth toned neutrals are best. Dress everyone in coordinating colors. Prints are ok if the design is small, only one family member is wearing print, and everyone else is in coordinating colors. Avoid logos if at all possible.

05. What happens if it rains?

Rain is so rare in San Diego, and it's up to you. We can still take photos in the rain, or we can find an indoor location, or we can reschedule (based on current availability). I will reach out to you the day prior or morning of your session to talk through the forecast and make a plan.

06. I'm awkward in front of camera!

Getting in front of the camera can be a stressful experience, don't worry! Although I don't do posed photos, but I'll give you directions! You and your loved ones will laugh, sing, snuggle and dance during the session time, simply be yourself! I also have some easy, natural prompts that get you doing something sweet or fun.

07. Do you travel?

Yes! I'm based in San Diego and always ready to travel. *Travel fees may apply.

08. I love your photos, but can I ask you to use a different editing style?

Sorry, but no. The way in which I edit is part of my business. I totally understand if you don't like the tones or contrast I use, but in that case we're probably not a good fit and I suggest looking for another photographer (there are A LOT of great ones out there!!)

09. I found exactly what I want on Pinterest, can you recreate that for me?

Well no, sorry. We can work together on recreating the general idea, but everyday brings different light, weather, attitudes, etc. Pinterest can be a great source for ideas, but every photo really comes from a unique moment. Let's try to make your own moments unique as well.
